Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 October 2026
1. About these terms
CLVROPS — the app and the web pages at app.clvrsolutions.uk — is provided by Mahmoud Hobloss, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). These terms apply to the organisations that use CLVROPS ("customers") and to every person who uses it ("you"). By creating an account, accepting an invitation or using CLVROPS, you agree to them. If you accept them for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to do so.
A customer may also have a separate written agreement with us. Where it says something different from these terms, the separate agreement wins.
2. The service
CLVROPS is a business tool for running restaurants, hotels and other hospitality venues: daily reports, cash-ups, stock, laundry, rotas, training, maintenance and similar work. It is offered to organisations, and people use it because their organisation invites them.
Customers pay for CLVROPS under a separate written agreement or invoice. Nothing is sold inside the app.
Your licence to use the iPhone and iPad app comes from Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies alongside these terms. Apple is not responsible for CLVROPS or for supporting it.
3. Accounts and workspaces
- You must be at least the minimum legal working age where you work, and use CLVROPS for your work.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Each customer has one or more workspaces. Its administrators decide who is invited, what each person can see and do, and which features and venues are switched on. They are responsible for keeping that access right — for example, removing people who leave.
4. The customer's data
Everything a customer and its team record in CLVROPS ("customer data") belongs to the customer. We use it only to provide CLVROPS to that customer, as described in our Privacy Policy, and for nothing else. Customers can export reports (CSV and PDF) at any time, and can ask us for a full copy of their data.
5. Data protection
For personal data in customer data, the customer is the controller and we are its processor. We:
- process it only to provide CLVROPS, following the customer's instructions as given by these terms, its agreement with us and the settings its administrators choose in the app;
- keep it confidential, and make sure anyone working on our behalf does too;
- protect it with appropriate technical and organisational security measures;
- use only the service providers named in the Privacy Policy, under written terms that protect the data, and tell customers before adding or replacing one so they can object;
- help the customer respond to people exercising their data protection rights, and with its own obligations;
- tell the customer without undue delay if we become aware of a breach affecting its personal data;
- delete the customer's data when it deletes its workspace (after a 7-day grace period), or return a copy first if asked, unless the law requires us to keep it; and
- give the customer the information it reasonably needs to show it is complying with data protection law.
The customer is responsible for:
- having a lawful basis for what it records, and telling its staff, and where needed its guests, how their data is used;
- recording only what it needs. In particular, do not enter full payment card numbers or passwords, and record health information (such as the reason for sick leave, or a guest's allergy) only where necessary and lawful;
- meeting the rules on transferring personal data abroad that apply to it — for example, if it operates in Turkey, the requirements of the KVKK for data stored in Germany and handled by the providers in the Privacy Policy;
- the email addresses it adds to report lists, and the rota and quiz links it shares.
6. AI features
Where a customer switches Ask on, CLVROPS can answer questions about its figures using Apple's models, or the customer's own AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic or Google) if an administrator connects one. If it does:
- the administrator confirms the customer has its own agreement with that provider, which governs that provider's use of the data, and is responsible for the key and its costs;
- each person agrees in the app before their questions are sent there, and can be limited by the administrator.
AI answers can be wrong. Check any figure that matters on its own screen before you rely on it.
7. Acceptable use
You must not: break the law using CLVROPS; upload content you have no right to, or that is harmful or offensive; try to see data you are not allowed to see, or to get around security or usage limits; interfere with the service or other customers; or copy, resell or reverse-engineer CLVROPS except where the law allows.
8. Our intellectual property
CLVROPS, its design and its software belong to us. These terms give you the right to use it for your work while they apply — nothing more.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep CLVROPS available, secure and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We improve and change features over time, and will give customers reasonable notice before removing something important. Keep your own copies of anything critical to your business.
10. Support
For help, email support@clvrsolutions.uk.
11. Suspension and ending
- You can stop using CLVROPS and delete your account in the app at any time.
- A customer's administrator can delete its workspace in the app, and the customer's agreement with us sets how its subscription ends.
- We may suspend an account or a workspace if these terms are seriously broken, if payment is overdue under the customer's agreement, or where needed to protect the service or other people. Where we can, we will warn the customer first.
12. Responsibility for the service
CLVROPS is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about it beyond those in these terms and in the customer's agreement with us.
13. Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or data; and our total liability to a customer for all claims in any 12 months is limited to the fees that customer paid us for CLVROPS in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Changes to these terms
We will update these terms when needed and change the "last updated" date above. For significant changes we will tell customers in advance. Continuing to use CLVROPS after a change takes effect means accepting it.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them, unless mandatory law where you are says otherwise. Before going to court, we will both try in good faith to settle a dispute by talking first.
